Madrid High School celebrated a homecoming victory over Earlham last night.
Alex Schieltz had a 20-yard touchdown run in the first quarter,
along with a 35-yard t-d rumble by Owen Gibbons. All told, six Tiger running backs
scored touchdowns and racked up over 500 yards rushing for the second week in a row
as Madrid crushed the Cardinals, 66 – 28.
Next up for the three-and-two Tigers, a game at Woodward Academy,
who was beaten by Guthrie Center, 34 – 20.
Sports Director Ryan Wendt will have Madrid football
right after the Moffitt’s Ford Lincoln pregame show starting at 6:00
Friday evening on AM 1590 and kwbg.com.
