#9 Boone 42, Saydel 6

Posted on 20 September 2013 by KWBG

Unbeaten Boone hosted Saydel at Goeppinger Field Friday night

and the Toreadors found the end zone first as Kane Springis ran it in from the 8.

The Eagles tied the game in the first quarter, but that was their only score.

The second period belonged to quarterback Alex Davis,

who had touchdown sprints of 21 and 28 yards.  Boone’s Ryan Dighton

finished the half with a 4-yard t-d run.  Then Springis returned the opening kickoff

of the second half 96 yards for a touchdown and for good measure, Jesse House

took it to the house from the 1 as the Toreadors go to 4 – 0 with a 42 – 6 victory

over Saydel.  Next week, Boone heads to Ballard and Sports Director Ryan Wendt

will have Toreador football beginning with the Moffitt’s Ford Lincoln pregame show

at 6:30 Friday evening on AM 1590 and kwbg.com.
