The Boone High School football team traveled to Carlisle Friday night
and the Toreadors scored on their very first possession of the season,
an 81-yard drive, capped with an 8-yard keeper by quarterback Alex Davis.
In the second quarter, Davis put Boone on the board again
with touchdown runs of 34, 3, and 1 yard to give the Toreadors
a 26 – 14 halftime lead over the Wildcats.
Davis picked up his fifth t-d, from the 4-yard line, to start the third period.
Levi Morain added a 1-yard plunge and Boone held on to beat Carlisle, 39 – 28.
Next week, the Toreadors have their home opener, taking on Perry.
