BOONE, Iowa—Pufferbilly DaysTM 2013 is quickly approaching, September 5th through the 8th, and a full-slate of activities and entertainment has been scheduled. The downtown entertainment center will be alive Thursday night with Pufferbilly Unplugged, a night of country oldies, featuring Booneshine from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Friday night, Standing Hampton is sure to pack the place again with non-stop music from the 70’s to the present from 7:30 PM until 11:30 PM. Saturday night another local favorite, Burnin’ Sensations will fill the air with a lot of fan favorites. Then to wrap it up, the Bill Martin Trio will play Sunday afternoon at 7th Street for the “End of Days” celebration.
This year’s festival will once again include Smith’s Amusement rides on 9th Street, Thursday night, Friday night and all day Saturday. The Antique auto show is slated for Thursday night on Story Street. The Pufferbilly DaysTM Craft Fair will once again fill Story Street on Saturday and Sunday, with the huge parade on tap for Saturday morning beginning at 9:30 AM. Make sure to come downtown after the parade to see the Isiserettes & the Iowa State University Cheer Squad with Cy. There will also be Mud Volleyball, BBQ Cook-off, Lil Miss & Mr. contest, Disc Golf, Horseshoe, Softball and regular golf tournaments taking place over the weekend. The Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad will be busy again with rides across the valley as well. Their trolley will provide transportation from downtown to the depot on 11th Street.
