Toronto reliever Steve Delabar won the fan voting for the final spot on the AL roster.

NEW YORK (AP)- New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter is expected to be in the lineup at shortstop tonight for his second game of the season. WATERLOO, Ontario (AP) -Inbee Park starts the day two shots behind co-leaders Angela Stanford and Catriona Matthew as they prepare for the second round at Manulife Financial LPGA Classic in Canada. LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – The New England Patriots say they are “extremely disappointed” after learning their defensive back Alfonzo Dennard (DEH’-nurd) was arrested and accused of driving drunk in Lincoln, Neb., where he once starred as a Nebraska defensive back. In April, Dennard was sentenced to 30 days in jail and two years of probation for assaulting a police officer in Lincoln last year.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) – Peace is not at hand for the Los Angeles Lakers. They waived Metta World Peace under the NBA’s amnesty provision, which will save the team about $15 million in luxury tax. He was set to earn $7.7 million next season, which the Lakers still must pay.
