UNDATED (AP) – The Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs have opened their conference semifinal series with victories. Nate Robinson had a game-high 27 points and the Bulls closed on a 10-0 run to beat the Heat 93-86 in Miami. The Spurs erased a 16-point deficit in the last four minutes of regulation before Manu Ginobili (MAN’-oo jih-NOH’-blee) drained a three-pointer with 1.2 seconds left in double-overtime to complete a 129-127 comeback win over Golden State.

UNDATED (AP) – The Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals now have two-games-to-one leads in the NHL’s Eastern Conference quarterfinals. Derek Stepan (STEP’-ahn) snapped a 3-3 tie with 6:25 remaining before the Rangers held on to beat the Capitals 4-3. David Krejci (KRAY’-chee) collected a goal and two assists in the Bruins’ 5-2 triumph against the Maple Leafs in Toronto.

UNDATED (AP) – Damien Brunner scored at 4:50 of overtime to push the Detroit Red Wings past Anaheim 3-2, evening the Western Conference quarterfinal series at two games apiece. Los Angeles also knotted its Western Conference quarterfinal series at two games apiece as Anze Kopitar (AHN’-zhay KOH’-pih-tahr) and Justin Williams scored 1:16 apart to send the Kings to a 4-3 triumph over St. Louis.

UNDATED (AP) – The Philadelphia Phillies have placed two-time Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay on the 15-day disabled list because of an injured right shoulder. Halladay is 2-4 with an 8.65 ERA in seven starts this season after allowing nine runs in 2 1/3 innings against Miami on Sunday. Halladay will be replaced on the roster by left-hander Joe Savery.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – Chicago White Sox starter Gavin Floyd needs elbow surgery and will miss the rest of the season. The 30-year-old was 0-4 with a 5.18 ERA in five starts for Chicago this season before going on the disabled list April 28.
