CHICAGO (AP) – The New York Knicks’ win streak is over at 13. Nate Robinson poured in a season-high 35 and the Chicago Bulls rallied to be the Knicks 118-111 in overtime last night.
DETROIT (AP) – Patrick Marleau (MAHR’-loh) scored the winner in the shootout and had a short-handed goal early in the game, lifting the San Jose Sharks to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings last night. The Sharks currently are in fourth place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Blues and L.A. Kings, while the Red Wings are clinging to the final playoff slot in the West.
PITTSBURGH (AP) – It’s Quinnipiac (KWIHN’-uh-pee-ak) and Nutmeg State rival Yale in Saturday’s Frozen Four champion. Yale needed overtime to beat UMass Lowell 4-2 while Quinnipiac eliminated St. Cloud State 4-1 last night.
