BOONE, Iowa—The James H. Andrew Railroad Museum and History Center will host another Humanities Iowa presentation this Saturday evening at the Museum’s Theater. Mike Wendel, Director of the Railroad Museum and History Center says Denny Rehder of Windsor Heights, Iowa will present a program on Iowa Railroad History entitled “Grass Between the Rails”. The performance is free and is open to the public. It will begin Saturday evening at 7:00. Rehder’s presentation involves original music and covers a gamut of Iowa railroad history. He has also written and published “The Shampoo King, ” the history of the F.W. Fitch Company that originated in Boone. Again, Wendel says the presentation is free and open to the public. Those with an interest in a tour of the Railroad Museum and History Center may pay the entrance fee of $8 for adults and $3 for children, but the presentation by Rehder is free.
