PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (AP) – Brandt Snedeker (SNEH’-deh-kur) is arguably the hottest golfer in the world right now. A runner-up to Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson the last two weeks on the PGA Tour, Snedeker fired a final round 7-under 65 for a two-shot victory over Chris Kirk in the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
UNDATED (AP) – Lindsey Vonn had surgery on her right knee on Sunday after she shredded two ligaments during a crash last week at the world championships. The 28-year-old Vonn is hoping to be healed in time for the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, which are a year away.
