Boone High’s 400 freestyle relay of Ben Boesen, Max McCubbin, Mitchell Madson and Mason Hartwig finished fourth (3:24.74) at Saturday’s state swim meet in Marshalltown. Boone junior  Hartwig placed 18th (1:48.24) in the 200-yard freestyle during. The 200 freestyle relay team of McCubbin, Boesen, Madson and Hartwig took 21st (1:31.98). Boone’s 200 medley relay of Hartwig, Zach Martin, Edik Lester and Madson came in 22nd (1:44.55).
