BOONE, Iowa—The Boone High School will have the Coronation of the Winter Dance King and Queen Friday afternoon at the Boone High School gymnasium. The Coronation will be held at 2:30 and the public is welcome to attend. The dance, “Winter Wonderland” will be held Saturday evening. Queen candidates include Bailey Hilsabeck, Jade Jepsen, Haley McDowell, Sammi Troe and Val Zinnel. The King candidates include Blaine Phillips, Bret Kinne, Jamie Lasher, Quinn Ealy and Dylan McDowell.
