Friday’s Recipes – Hamburger Potato Hotdish and Ham Appetillas

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 env. dry onion soup mix
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
2 tbsp. soy sauce
3/4 c. grated cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can water
Brown meat and drain fat. Put into a large, greased casserole and sprinkle dry onion soup mix over meat. Top with frozen potatoes. Mix soup, water, salt, pepper, and soy sauce together until well blended. Pour over meat and potatoes. Cover with foil or lid and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove lid and top with grated cheese. Bake for 15 minutes longer. Serves 6.


Ham Appetillas by BDM
Let 1 package flour tortillas come to room temperature while preparing filling:
two 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
⅓ c mayonnaise
2 T chopped green onions
¼ c black olives, chopped

Spread in a thin layer on tortillas. Top with a layer of Buddig ham. Tightly roll each tortilla up. Wrap in plastic wrap, refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. To serve, slice into ¾ inch diagonal slices


Onion Dip by BDM
Combine in a medium bowl:
1 16 oz container sour cream
½ c mayonnaise
1 package onion soup mix
