BOONE, Iowa—The Pufferbilly Days^TM Steering Committee has announced the winner of their 2013 logo and theme contest.  Eric Carlson of Boone submitted the winning entry.  The theme is “Celebrating 100 Years of Rails & Roads” with the logo featuring a train and cars.  The work incorporates the 100^th anniversary of the Lincoln Highway.  The winning logo will be used on festival memorabilia and will also be featured on promotional advertising for the event.  The 37^th Pufferbilly Days^TM festival will be celebration in Boone from Thursday, September 5^th through Sunday, September 8^th, 2013.  The theme and logo will be officially unveiled later this spring.
