BOONE, Iowa—The Iowa Railroad Historical Society and James H. Andrew Railroad Museum and History Center will feature a presentation next Saturday called “Trains Across Iowa”. The program will be presented by Dr. Rudy Daniels, Assistant Dean and Department Chair of Railroad Operations Technology at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City. Daniels has authored two books, one entitled “Trains Across the Continent-North American Railroad and Sioux City Railroads. Daniels is expected to discuss Iowa’s unique position in the construction of the first transcontinental railroad and Iowa’s great contribution to railroad safety. Daniels will speak in the theater at the James H. Andrew Railroad Museum and History Center. Tours of the Museum and History Center will be available following the 2:00 presentation at the regular fees. Additional information is available at from the James H.
