BOONE, Iowa—Calling it one of the easiest meetings to review the Boone School District’s annual audit report, Mike Scheuermann, CPA with Henkel & Associates in Boone, presented a review of the District’s Audit Committee.  Scheuermann noted that auditors with Hogan-Hansen complimented the district as one of the easiest to work with.  That has been a condition that has improved over the past couple of years and District Business Manager Paulette Newbold was recognized for that trend.  Scheuermann noted strong balances in several catagories and also noted that the district really didn’t get many recommendations for corrections.
