BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Board of Supervisors will hold their last regular meeting Wednesday, in the Board Room at the Boone County Courthouse. There will be a funding request from Boone County Transportation. Director Jeffrey Kehoe will be meeting with the Board. Written funding requests will also be received from the Senior Association of Madrid and the Madrid Historical Society. This will be the final regular meeting for Supervisor Bill Lusher. There will be a reception for Lusher on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Board Room. Recently elected officials will receive the Oath of Office in a ceremony on Friday at 9:30 AM. Chet Hollingshead and Tom Foster will be sworn in as Supervisors. Gregg Elsberry will officially become the Boone County Sheriff. Phil Meier will take the Oath of Office as Boone County Auditor. Adrea Kester, who was elected to fill the unexpired term as Boone County Attorney was sworn in after the election results were certified in November.
