BOONE, Iowa—A single vehicle roll over in southern Boone County right before 4:00 Thursday morning has sent a Woodward woman to a Des Moines hospital with what are reported to be serious injuries.  The accident occurred on L Avenue, northwest of Woodward.  31 year old Dawn Phipps was traveling north on L Avenue when she lost control, entered the ditch and rolled her pickup.  Phipps was taken by Boone County Ambulance to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines where she was being treated.  Two passengers, 19 year old Rebecca Woods of Ames and 33 year old Benjamin Kruckenburg of Madrid received minor injuries but refused treatment.  Woods was cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age.  Authorities say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor and test results are pending.
