Over 100 children were escorted by uniformed officers and shopping helpers on Thursday evening.  Each child gets treated to piazza, money to spend on gifts for themselves and their families, plus a certificate for a holiday dinner. Other volunteers help to wrap the gifts for the children.   Boone’s Shop with a Cop program is arguably one of the largest in the state.
