Marc Gasol chipped in 14 points as the 6-1 Grizzlies continued the best start in franchise history by winning their sixth straight game

NEW YORK (AP) – Tampa Bay’s David Price and R.A. Dickey of the New York Mets, a pair of 20-game winners for non-division winning teams, are this year’s Cy Young Award winners. AL award winner Price posted a 20-5 mark with 205 strikeouts while NL winner Dickey went 20-6 with a league-leading 230 strikeouts for the lowly Mets.

But Josh Jones came off the bench to score all 18 of his points in the second half of 15th-ranked Creighton’s 77-60 win over UAB with McDermott held to five points.
