BOONE, Iowa—The Ag Committee from the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Boone County Farm Bureau several years ago to raise money for 4H Scholarships.  Since that beginning, Fair Board members have joined in and the group now includes scholarship opportunities for the Boone A&M FFA Chapter.  Originally, the omelet breakfast was held on Ag Day, each spring, but several years ago it was decided to conduct a second breakfast in recognition of a safe and successful harvest.  The Fall Harvest Omelet Breakfast will be Thursday from 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM at the Community Building at the Boone County Fairgrounds.  This year group has decided to extend the hours until 9:00.  Local celebrity chefs will do the cooking.
