Madrid got on the board first at Guthrie Center Friday night
with a 49-yard touchdown rumble by Alex Schieltz. In the second quarter,
the Tigers’ Owen Gibbons had two t-d runs of 49 and 38 yards
to put Madrid up by ten at halftime. But Guthrie Center scored fourteen
unanswered points in the second half to top the Tigers,
who had just seventeen yards of total offense in the last two periods.
Madrid lost 26 – 22 and finishes the season with a record of 5 – 4.
