OGDEN, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 98 year old  Colonel (ret.) Charles Leon Kimsey of Platte City, Missouri.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 13th at 11:00 AM at the Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden, Iowa.  Burial will be held at the Pilot Mound Cemetery in Pilot Mound, Iowa.  Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden, Saturday at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be directed to NorthCare Hospice & Palliative Care, 2900 Clay Edwards Drive, N.K.C. MO  64116.
