Woodward Academy 33, Madrid 24

It was homecoming at Madrid as Woodward Academy came to town.
Jacob Clayton had an 11-yard touchdown run
and Colton Braunschweig dove for a 2-yard t-d in the first quarter.
Clayton scored again, from the thirteen, in the second period,
putting the Tigers up by ten at the half.
Madrid could not find the end zone again, but the Knights did,
taming the Tigers, 33 – 24, for their second loss of the season.
Madrid will be home next week, taking on Woodward Granger,
a 49 – 14 winner over Earlham. Sports Director Ryan Wendt,
along with color man Mark Turner, will have Tiger football
from The Jungle right after the Moffitt’s Ford Lincoln pregame show
at 6:00 Friday night on AM 1590 and
