The unbeaten Boone Toreadors started Homecoming, 2012, slowly
at Goeppinger Field, spotting Iowa Falls Alden fourteen
first-quarter points before Dusty Moran threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Alex Davis. In the second period, Moran hit Chris Kelly
with a 32-yard t-d toss and the game was tied at halftime.
Moran connected with Nate Kreigel from the forty-four
in the third quarter with Dusty’s third touchdown pass.
Boone got its first rushing t-d from the 3-yard line by Jonny Mack,
then Davis ran it in from the eight in the fourth quarter
and the Toreadors go to 6 – 0 with a 35 – 28 victory over the Cadets. Next week, undefeated Boone travels to South Tama County.
