BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections, Phil Meier says the Auditor’s Office will be conducting several early voting satellite locations for the General Election in 2012. Early voting is currently being conducted in the first floor conference room at the Boone County Courthouse and that will continue, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM until November 5th. Satellite voting locations will have ballots for all of the voting precincts in Boone County and voter registration forms for any new or changes in registration. The satellite locations will be open a day at a time, during October, the first, October 13th at HyVee in Boone from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. There will be a second stop at HyVee on October 20th. On October 16th voting will be available at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. October 17th at the Madrid Home in Madrid from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. October 18th West Haven in Boone from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Finally, Meier says the three final days will be a DMACC, October 23rd, 24th and 25th from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
