Madrid traveled to Earlham to take on the 1-3 Cardinals and the Tigers
got a 9-yard touchdown run from Colton Braunschweig, along with an 11-yard
t-d rumble from Nick Novotny in the first quarter. Jacob Clayton
scored from the seven and Mason Gibson had a 1-yard dive
for a 30-14 Madrid halftime lead. Neither team reached the end zone
in the third period, but Clayton ran in his second touchdown from the eight
in the fourth quarter, giving the Tigers their fourth win of the season,
38-21, at Earlham. Homecoming at Madrid is next week and the Tigers host
Woodward Academy, who got by Guthrie Center yesterday evening, 14-8.
