Posted on 04 September 2012 by KWBG

The 30th year of the IMCA SuperNationals at the Boone Speedway got off to a slow start on Monday. Just .16 of rain delayed the dropping of the first flag by some two hours.  And with a car count nearing record numbers, the racing continued through the 5am hour on Tuesday morning.

Monday’s Deery Brothers Summer Series main event  results – 1. Mike Murphy, Jr., Colona, Ill.; 2. Andy Eckrich, Oxford; 3. Jeff Aikey, Waterloo; 4. Darrel DeFrance, Marshalltown; 5. Ray Guss Jr., Milan, Ill.; 6. Jon Passick, Waterloo; 7. Jeremiah Hurst, Dubuque; 8. Joel Callahan, Dubuque; 9. Justin Kay, Wheatland; 10. Jay Johnson, West Burlington
