Italian Beef Sandwiches by BDM
Place 3 lb boneless beef chuck roast into slow cooker
Sprinkle with; 1 t Italian seasoning
¼ t cayenne pepper
¼ t pepper
Add ¼ c water, cover and cook until meat is tender.
Remove roast, shred meat with two forks, and return to slow cooker
In a large bowl combine:
16 oz jar pepperoncinis with juice
1 medium green bell pepper sliced
1 medium red bell pepper sliced
1 garlic clove minced
1 envelope of onion soup mix
2 T Worcestershire sauce
Pour over meat, cover and cook on high for one hour, or until peppers are tender
Spoon beef mixture over bottom halves of heavy bread.
