BOONE, Iowa—A Boone County woman, missing about 30-hours was found Saturday evening in a cornfield near her home in southern Boone County. Authorities report that 68-year old Donna R. Myers left her home on walk Friday morning about 11:00 AM. Family members contracted authorities about 2:00 PM Friday afternoon when she hadn’t returned home. When she hadn’t returned by 6:00 PM Friday, a search was begun. Officials stopped searching about 11:00 PM Friday night but resumed at 7:00 AM Saturday. Myers was spotted by a neighbor about 7:00 PM Saturday evening. She was reported to be severely dehydrated. Myers was taken by ambulance to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
