School Board Looks to Keep Swimming Pool

Posted on 08 March 2012 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board seems inclined to keep the high school swimming pool and give up  some renovation on the 1955 portion of the building as part of a nearly $21-million high school renovation project.  Initial plans put the cost of the project about $2-million over budget.  DLR Group, architects for the project came back with alternate plans and will seek formal approval at the March 13th School Board meeting.  The Board has considered a number of options to keep the project in budget.
