BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Veterans are being urged to consider taking in the upcoming Veteran’s Benefits Fair, Thursday, March 8th. Paul Ladd, Colonel USMC retired, is the Executive Director of Boone County Veterans Affairs and says the Benefits Fair is held every other year and brings together a number organizations and service providers, to answer questions and generally get out information about their services. Ladd says the goal is to make sure all veterans and their family receive the benefits they have earned. There’s no charge to attend. The Benefits Fair is at the Boone County Fairgrounds, in the Community Building on March 8th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
