BOONE, Iowa—Two people were taken to the Boone County Hospital late Monday following an accident near 2nd and Greene Streets.  Authorities report that a car, operated by 45 year old Tina Campbell of Boone sideswiped a car, then ended up striking a tree.  Investigating officers report that Campbell’s car was a loss.  Damages to the side swiped car and tree amounted to more than a $1,000.  Campbell and her passenger, 8 year old Josie Campbell was taken by ambulance to the Boone County Hospital.  Authorities say charges are pending.
