Ohlson Assumes Council Seat Tuesday

Posted on 05 December 2011 by KWBG

OGDEN, Iowa—David Ohlson will take the oath of office Tuesday, filling the unexpired term on the Ogden City Council.  Ohlson was elected in November to fill the position on the Council held by Lyle Conklin.  Former Mayor Mark Trueblood had filled in since Conklin passed away, but did not seek election to the seat.  Ohlson will be sworn in prior to the regular meeting Tuesday evening.  Other unexpired terms were filled on the Boxholm City Council and the Luther City Council.
