School Elections

BOONE, Iowa—Tuesday is school election day. School Board members will be selected to 4-year terms in Boone, Ogden, Madrid and United School Districts. The Ogden District has the most candidates for 3-positions. Six are still in the race even though a seventh name is on the ballot. Amy Chumbley has decided to withdraw from consideration. Boone School District patrons will also consider a yes or no vote on a $16.1 million bond referendum to renovate the District’s high school. Voting at United begins at 7:00 AM and in Boone, Ogden and Madrid at 12:00 PM. All polls close at 8:00 PM.
