BOONE, Iowa—The end of July always brings out the Boone Area Merchants Association Crazy Day event and that will be the case Saturday. Organizers are using a sports theme with “Go, Shop, Win!” The suggested hours will be Saturday from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM. As usual, some of the downtown streets will be closed off to vehicular traffic during the event.
