Vacant Fraser Building Burns

FRASER, Iowa—The old Fraser Tap burned down early Tuesday morning as fire fighters from Boone, Ogden and Pilot Mound worked to contain the blaze. The fire was reported at 12:30 in the morning and the Boone Fire Department was on the scene for about 5-hours. Officials say the building was vacant and the electricity had been disconnected. The exact cause may never be known. No injuries were reported during the fire.
