OGDEN, Iowa—The City of Ogden has been successful in obtaining a grant of more than $52,000 to get technical assistance to support the development of a local foods aggregation network. The idea started out as a way to locally grown produce to a ready market, all the youth camps in Boone County. Since the idea first came up, interest has grown and the grant will help with the details of putting the program together. The grant is part of the rural Business Enterprise Grant program from the USDA Rural Development.
