BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 52-year old Jayson ‘Jay’ Eckhart of Boone, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 25th at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa. Following Jay’s wishes, his body has been cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Tuesday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Visitation Wednesday will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Boone from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
