STRATFORD, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 86-year old Weldon “Swede” Swedlund of Stratford, Iowa. The service will be held Wednesday, April 27th at 1:30 PM a tthe Calvary United Methodist Church in Stratford, Iowa. A private interment will be held at the Oadkwood Cemetery north of Stratford, Iowa. There will be Military Rites.

Visitation will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Tuesday from 3:30 PM until 7:30 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Tuesday from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM.

Those wishing to express their sympathies through a memorial may direct their gifts to the American Legion of Iowa Foundation for Scholarships.
