BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 89-year old Jay Brandt of rural Boone, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 2nd at 10:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Boone, Iowa. The body has been cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at the Quincy Cemetery located southwest of Boone, Iowa.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Visitation continues Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be directed to the family and will be used at their discretion.
