BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Board of Supervisors approved a first consideration to rescind a section of the county zoning ordinance. The Supervisors held their first public hearing on the ordinance amendment Wednesday, and quickly took action. Chairman of the Board Tom Foster said he would vote to remove the language from the ordinance because it was what the public wanted. He pointed out to those attending the hearing that two more hearings are going to be required. The second consideration will be part of the Board meeting on March 30th and the third on April 6th.
