Council to Consider Consultant Contract

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Council will once again consider action to continue their affiliation with the Russ Reid Company, a Washington, D.C. based lobbying and consulting firm. The City has retained the services of the company for the passed couple of years and has received $1.3 million in federal funding for the Corporal Snedden Overpass Project and the on going sanitary sewer rehabilitation work in the city. The cost has been $120,000 a year. The Council will consider continuing the contract at a revised rate.
