School District Audit

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board has accepted the audit report for the recently completed fiscal year. The report shows revenue of more than $25.5 million, a decrease from the prior year. Expenditures totaled $24.2 million, an increase of nearly 2% from the previous year. Superintendent Brad Manard says the District has experienced a tremendous turn around in the past four years. The audit was reviewed by the District’s Audit Committee, made up of local accountants, attorneys and a couple of Board members.
