OGDEN, Iowa—Work continues on the Ogden Storm Sewer Project, a project aimed at diverting storm water away from the city’s sanitary sewer system. The $1.5-million dollar project is being mandated by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources as a solution to excessive water getting into the sewer plant. A second project will be considered by the Ogden City Council next week, which will call for making sanitary sewer improvements in a specified area. That work will eventually involve the installation of a liner in the sanitary sewer. The City Council will hold a hearing on the project next Tuesday.
