Peddler Ordinance

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Council gave final approval and adopted a new ordinance dealing with Peddlers and Solicitors. Boone Mayor John Slight says the ordinance was driven by citizen complaints. The ordinance is not a restrictive as one adopted by the Council several years ago. That what repealed by the Council when several residents joined with the Iowa Civil Liberties Union to challenge the constitutionality.
