Another Thomas Weekend

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad will certainly look for better weather this weekend for Thomas the Tank Engine. Last weekend was plagued by cold, rainy weather. A Day Out With Thomas will continue Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Early in September, Fenner Stevenson, General Manager at the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad, said the pre-sale of tickets was up about 15-percent. An estimated 7,000 visitors could visit Boone this weekend.
