BOONE, Iowa—The annual Herman Park Gospel Fest will be held in Boone Saturday. Organizers, Harold and Betty Holmes have a slate of a dozen gospel acts performing during the event. The free event continues to attract an increasing crowd. The gospel performers will also perform at a variety of churches in central Iowa on Sunday. The Herman Park Gospel Fest will begin at 1:00 Saturday afternoon.
