BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Public Works Department will be picking items residents have left sitting out on the city park this week. The first area to see collection will be north of Mamie Eisenhower Avenue. South of Mamie Eisenhower will need to set out items next Sunday for collection next week. Certain items will not be collected and this year there are restrictions on the disposal of appliances and tires.
