OGDEN, Iowa—The Ogden City Council tabled action on a nuisance abatement on a downtown building location until their next regular meeting in May. The abatement was sent to Daryl Johnson, and Johnson was to meet with the Council in a special meeting last Wednesday to talk about plans for saving the building or demolishing the structure. The Council is also concerned about a neighboring building that shares a wall with Johnson’s building and is also considered a nuisance. Mayor Kieth Berg says the City is discussing various options with Johnson and hopes to resolve the talks by the May 4th meeting.
